Dr. Battery MPL08253P-20 6-cell 10.8V 4400mAh laptop battery

Replacement battery for HP EliteBook and ProBook

The Dr. Battery MPL08253P-20 is a new 6-cell lithium-ion pack rated at 10.8V and 4400mAh. It replaces original HP part numbers such as 628368-241, 628368-251 and 628368-351. The unit fits EliteBook 8460p, 8460w, 8470p, 8470w, 8560p, 8570p and ProBook 6360b, 6360t, 6460b, 6465b, 6470b, 6475b, 6560b, 6565b, 6570b models. Buyers should match their original battery part number before ordering.

Lithium-ion chemistry and voltage limits

The pack delivers 48Wh from six cells operating at 10.8V. A built-in smart control chip manages charging current, reduces power consumption and extends discharge time. Protection circuits guard against short circuit, overheat and overload conditions. The battery is designed to meet OEM specification levels for the listed HP notebooks and cannot be used in systems requiring a different voltage or cell count.

Upgrade from depleted or lower-capacity originals

This unit suits owners whose factory battery no longer holds a useful charge or who need a fresh 4400mAh replacement. It does not serve users who require a higher-capacity 9-cell design or a different form factor for ultra-thin models. The jump is worth it when the original pack has degraded below acceptable runtime and a direct-fit 6-cell replacement restores mobility.
