Scale and Subject

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model of the German Sd.Kfz.165 Hummel self-propelled gun in its early production configuration. It arrives as a finished collectible in a sealed display case, aimed at adult enthusiasts of Second World War armour.

Display Constraints

The model is sealed inside its showcase with no openings, so interior details cannot be accessed or altered. Pad-printed markings replace traditional decals to resist fading or peeling, but the fixed enclosure prevents any weathering, diorama integration or parts swapping by the owner.

Upgrade Context

It replaces earlier Hummel kits that required assembly, painting and separate decal application while lacking a protective case. The jump is worthwhile for collectors who want a pristine, ready-to-display replica immediately, but not for hobbyists who enjoy building, customising or opening their models.
