Scale and Subject

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model of the German Sd.Kfz.173 Jagdpanther Ausf.G1 Late Production tank used by s.Pz.Jg.Abt.560 in the Ardennes during 1944. It arrives in a sealed box with a protective display case included.

Collectors and Display Focus

The finished piece suits collectors who want a detailed, pad-printed replica that requires no assembly or painting. Builders who enjoy constructing kits from sprues or customising markings should look at traditional model kits instead.

Ready for Display

No installation is needed because the model comes fully assembled inside its showcase. The turret rotates for posing, but there are no hatches or interior details to open, so handling is limited to gentle repositioning on a shelf.

Questions about this item

What tools or materials do I need to assemble this 1/72 scale plastic model?

The model arrives as a finished, sealed unit inside a plastic display showcase; no glue, paint or tools are required for display.

Will the 3.75 inch long hull and 5.25 inch cannon length fit on a shelf with my older 1/72 armour models?

Yes, the 1/72 scale matches other 1/72 vehicles, so dimensions are consistent across the same scale.

How can I verify the rotating turret and pad-printed markings are functioning correctly after unpacking?

Gently turn the turret to confirm smooth rotation and inspect the markings — they are pad printed, so they should not peel or fade like decals.
