Scale and Subject

This is a brand-new 1/72 scale plastic model of the United States M1A2 SEP tank fitted with a mine plow in plowing mode. It depicts the 1st Battalion, 16th Cavalry Regiment at Fort Knox during 2002 and arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Assembly and Display

The model is a finished collectible that requires no assembly; it ships inside a protective plastic showcase for immediate display. A rotating turret allows dynamic positioning, while pad-printed markings resist fading or peeling. Buyers who want a kit to build or paint will find this sealed replica unsuitable.

Detail and Limitations

True-to-scale exterior detail covers the hull, turret and plow assembly, measuring approximately 4.5 inches long without the cannon and 5.25 inches with it. The model has no openings, so interior compartments and crew positions are not accessible. Collectors seeking interior detail or motorised functions should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the rotating turret and pad-printed markings are correctly assembled on the 1/72 M1A2 SEP model?

Check that the turret rotates smoothly without resistance and inspect the green camouflage markings — they should be crisp pad-printed details that will not fade or peel like traditional decals.

What comes in the box and is any additional item required to display the model?

The box contains the fully assembled 1/72 scale tank with mine plow in plowing mode, rotating turret, and a protective plastic display showcase; no extra purchases are needed for display.

Which version of this Dragon Models tank should I choose if I want the 2002 Fort Knox unit with mine plow?

Select the "M1A2 SEP Tank w/Mine Plow (Plowing Mode) 'Fort Knox' (2002) Green Camouflage" NEO Dragon Armor edition — it is the only version matching that specific unit and configuration.
