1/72 scale Panzer IV Ausf.H collectible

This 1/72 scale plastic model reproduces the Panzer IV Ausf.H with Schurzen as fielded by 2. Panzer Division in Normandy during 1944. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging and includes a protective plastic display showcase. The turret rotates for dynamic display options and the model features no openings. Pad-printed markings are applied directly to the surface so they will not fade or peel like traditional decals.

Display-ready construction with fixed exterior

The model measures approximately 3.5 inches long, extending to 3.75 inches with the cannon fitted, 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches high. Because the exterior is fully detailed and sealed without openings, there are no moving parts beyond the rotating turret to generate noise or require power. The pre-finished pad printing eliminates the need for adhesive decals and the supplied showcase protects the finish from dust and handling.

Upgrades earlier decal-dependent kits

Collectors replacing older 1/72 Panzer IV kits that rely on water-slide decals will appreciate the durable pad-printed markings and the included display case. The jump is worthwhile when you want a ready-to-show piece with historically accurate Normandy 1944 markings that stay sharp without additional sealing. Builders who want interior detail, motorised functions or a kit that requires assembly and painting should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the Dragon Models Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H #823 installed in the display case, and what step do people miss?

The model arrives fully assembled inside its plastic showcase; the step people miss is leaving the showcase sealed to protect the pad-printed markings from dust and handling.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1/72 scale tank need later?

No maintenance is required; the pad-printed markings resist fading and peeling, and the sealed showcase keeps the model in pristine condition indefinitely.

What limit appears first when the rotating turret is used repeatedly on this Normandy 1944 model?

The turret rotates for dynamic display, but the fixed hull and non-opening design mean the limit is the single-axis movement — no hatches or interior details can be accessed.
