Desk-wide hybrid surface

The Dream Machines DM PAD L Rough Control is a hybrid cloth mouse pad sized at 17.7 by 15.8 inches with a 3 mm thickness. Its microfiber surface balances speed and control for optical and laser sensors alike. A non-slip rubber base keeps the pad anchored during fast swipes. Stitched edges resist fraying over extended use.

Consistent glide under load

The hybrid cloth maintains a uniform coefficient of friction during long sessions, so tracking does not drift as the surface warms. Water-resistant coating repels spills without changing the feel, and the rubber base prevents bunching when pressure is applied repeatedly. Stitching holds the perimeter flat, avoiding curled corners that snag the mouse foot.

Upgrade from basic cloth pads

This pad replaces thin office mats that wear smooth, curl at the edges, or slide on polished desks. The jump is worth it when a larger, stable surface with durable stitching and spill protection improves daily aim consistency. Buyers who need a hard plastic or glass surface for maximum speed will not find that here.

Questions about this item

Will the 3 mm rubber base stay flat and cool during all-day sessions?

The 3 mm non-slip rubber base resists curling and does not generate heat, so it remains flat and comfortable for extended use.

Does the hybrid cloth surface need a specific sensor type to track properly?

The surface works with both laser and optical sensors, so any standard gaming mouse will track without extra hardware.

Will the 17.7 x 15.8 in dimensions fit beside a compact tenkeyless keyboard?

At 450 x 400 mm the pad leaves enough room for a tenkeyless board while still giving wide mouse travel.
