Drill America 31/64in x 12in Cobalt Aircraft Extension Drill Bit pneumatic accessory

Drill America 31/64in Cobalt Extension Bit

This cobalt steel drill bit is built for deep-hole drilling in tough alloys such as stainless steel and titanium. Its 12 inch overall length reaches confined areas that standard jobber bits cannot access. The heavy-duty split point reduces walking and starts cuts cleanly without a centre punch.

Replaces shorter bits for deep aerospace work

Upgrade from a standard-length bit when the workpiece thickness or fixture clearance exceeds the reach of a 4-3/8 inch flute. The jump is worth it for maintenance tasks on airframe structures where the extra length prevents the need for custom tooling or disassembly. Buyers who need a smaller diameter or a shorter flute for general shop use should select a different size.
