Sustained Load Behaviour and Power Budget

With an 802.3bt uplink delivering 90W, the four downstream ports share a 72W PoE+ budget. An 802.3at uplink of 30W reduces the total output to 25W. If the DC input voltage falls below 40V, PoE output on LAN1-LAN4 is disabled automatically.

Cable Length and Speed Trade-offs

In standard LAN mode the ports run at 1000 Mbps up to 100 metres. Enabling Extended Mode pushes the reach to 250 metres but drops each port to 10 Mbps, so camera bit rates must stay below 8 Mbps to avoid congestion.
