Product Identity

Duck EZ Start Packaging Tape is a clear, heavy-duty tape supplied in a two-pack for shipping, moving and storage tasks. Each roll measures 1.88 inches wide by 30 yards long and uses a solvent acrylic adhesive that resists splitting or tearing during application.

Thermal Noise Power

The acrylic adhesive maintains its bond across a wide temperature range and includes ultraviolet resistance to prevent yellowing and extend shelf life. EZ Start technology ensures the tape unrolls smoothly and easily without splitting, reducing waste and frustration during normal use.

Core Compatibility

Rolls are supplied on either a 1-1/2 inch or 3 inch diameter core depending on the SKU, so the dispenser or holder must match the core size received. Buyers who need a specific core diameter should verify the item number before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I load the roll onto a dispenser and which core size should I check for?

The rolls ship on either a 1-1/2 inch or 3 inch diameter core — verify the item number on the box (for example 285886, 285703, 1259457, 285711, 280068, 282404, 299002) to match your dispenser before loading.

Will the adhesive degrade or yellow over time so I need to replace the tape?

The solvent acrylic adhesive includes ultraviolet resistance that prevents yellowing and extends shelf life, so the tape remains usable for longer without replacement due to discoloration.

At what point does the tape start to split or tear during continuous sealing?

The EZ Start® technology is engineered to unroll smoothly and resist splitting or tearing even under sustained heavy-duty use.
