Pre-taped drop cloth for paint and dust

Duck Brand Pre-Taped Drop Cloth combines a two-ply plastic film with a removable cloth-tape edge. The clear sheeting resists tears and punctures while catching drips, sawdust and debris. It suits interior painting, sanding containment, doorway coverage and outdoor plant or foundation protection. The adhesive is natural rubber.

Removable tape releases cleanly for up to four weeks

The pre-taped edge holds the film securely on clean, dry surfaces and is designed to remove without residue for up to 4 weeks. Tape is not recommended for wallpaper, unpainted drywall or lacquered finishes. UV resistance allows indoor or outdoor exposure. Always test adhesion in an inconspicuous spot before full application.

Unroll, cut, apply and unfold in minutes

Installation is a simple unroll, cut to width, press the taped edge and unfold the film. Surfaces must be clean and dry for reliable adhesion. The main risk is tape failure on unsuitable substrates such as wallpaper, raw drywall or lacquered surfaces. Testing first avoids damage or rework.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 63 in by 19.68 ft roll and a smaller size?

The 63 in width covers wide windows or doorways in one piece, while the 19.68 ft length lets you cut multiple drops for floors or counters without seams.

What does the two-ply construction mean when I am taping off a room?

Two-ply film resists tears and punctures better than single-layer sheeting, so it stays intact when you walk on it or catch falling debris.

How does the natural rubber adhesive perform on painted trim over several days?

The pre-taped edge is designed to remove cleanly for up to 4 weeks on clean, dry painted surfaces, but it is not recommended for wallpaper, unpainted drywall or lacquered finishes.
