High-temperature polyimide film tape withstands 750 °F and comes in a 50 ft continuous roll
DuPont Kapton HN amber film tape is a 3-inch wide continuous roll measuring 50 feet in length. The polyimide construction withstands a maximum performance temperature of 750 degrees Fahrenheit. It is supplied as a non-adhesive insulating electrical tape for specialised applications.
This roll fits workflows that require a 1 mil polyimide film capable of sustained exposure to extreme heat. Buyers who need a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing should look at a different product. The tape is also not rated for specific voltage insulation requirements.
The single specification that determines suitability is the 750 degrees Fahrenheit upper temperature limit. Confirm that your operating environment stays within this boundary before purchasing. No voltage rating or minimum temperature rating is provided for this film.

Unroll the tape slowly onto a clean surface, pressing from the centre outward with a roller or firm hand to squeeze out air as you go. The non-adhesive film clings by static and heat, so any trapped bubble will not bond and can lift later.
The 1-mil amber film itself degrades after repeated cycles at the 750 °F maximum; plan to swap the roll once the surface turns brittle or discolours.
The supplier rates the maximum tape performance temperature at 750 °F; sustained exposure at or above that point is where the polyimide film begins to lose integrity.
