Durcord A2OD-335 USB-C Cable Pair

This two-pack of USB-C to USB-C cables is built for users who need reliable charging and data syncing across phones, tablets and laptops. Each cable measures six feet and supports up to 60W Power Delivery for fast charging compatible devices.

60W Power Delivery and 480Mbps Data

The cables handle PD 4.0 and 3.0 alongside QC 5.0 and 4.0, delivering up to 20V/5A with a suitable charger. In testing, a 16-inch MacBook Pro reached 38 percent charge in 30 minutes, while phones can hit 64 percent in 35 minutes. Data moves at 480Mbps, enough for 1200 songs per minute, but the USB 2.0 interface caps larger file transfers.

USB 2.0 Speed Limit and Connector Count

The 0.48 Gbps rating means the link tops out at USB 2.0 throughput, so video output or high-bandwidth storage is not supported. Twenty-four pins are present in each connector, yet only the USB 2.0 lanes are active. Buyers needing 5Gbps or 10Gbps transfers, or DisplayPort alt mode, should look for a cable rated for USB 3.2 or USB4.

Questions about this item

Will the 60W cable work with my older 30W charger and still charge my phone?

Yes, the cable supports PD 3.0 and QC 4.0 so it will negotiate the 30W limit of your existing charger and charge at that speed.

How can I verify the 480Mbps transfer rate is actually working after I plug it in?

Transfer a 1GB file between two USB-C devices; at 480Mbps it should finish in roughly 20 seconds.

Does the 2-pack include any power adapters or do I need to buy them separately?

The box contains only the two 6ft USB-C to USB-C cables; a compatible 60W or higher USB-C power adapter must be purchased separately.
