Eclipse Pro EP-2500 folding headphones

The DUSLAN Eclipse Pro EP-2500 is a red over-ear headphone designed for portable listening with PC, MP4 players, iPod, iPad, iPhone and other music players. Its folding construction makes transport and storage simple. The open-air dynamic drivers deliver Hi-Fi stereo sound in a lightweight frame weighing approximately 6 g without the cord. A 2.0 m cable ends in a 3.5 mm stereo mini plug for universal compatibility.

Sustained listening comfort and sound

Open-air dynamic drivers with 40 mm dome units produce a frequency response of 12-22,000 Hz and a sensitivity of 108 dB/mW at an impedance of 10 ohms. Rated power handling is 50 mW, supporting extended sessions without distortion. The simple headband and supplied earpads provide a comfortable, custom fit for long periods. The light mass reduces fatigue during hours of continuous use.

3.5 mm wired connectivity decides fit

The only connection is a 3.5 mm stereo mini plug on a 2.0 m cord. Buyers who need wireless operation, USB audio, or a different connector cannot use this model. The 10 ohm impedance suits portable sources but may not match dedicated high-impedance amplifiers. No microphone or inline controls are included.

Questions about this item

How much power do the 40 mm drivers draw during extended listening sessions?

The drivers are rated for 50 mW power handling, so continuous use stays within that limit.

Which audio source connector must I already have for the 3.5 mm stereo mini plug to work?

Any device with a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack — PC, phone, tablet or portable player — will accept the plug directly.

Will the 10 ohm impedance cause volume or quality issues when plugged into an older laptop headphone output?

At 10 ohms and 108 dB/mW sensitivity, the headphones reach loud levels easily from typical legacy outputs without needing extra amplification.
