Charger and 24 AA NiCd set

The DUSLAN V868 bundles an eight-bay charger with twenty-four AA Nickel Cadmium cells rated at 1000 mAh and 1.2 V. It suits households or workshops that run many AA-powered devices and want a single station to keep them topped up.

Pair charging and timer control

The unit charges two, four, six or eight cells at once, but only in pairs, and automatically selects 200 mA for AA or 80 mA for AAA. A built-in IC timer stops the fast phase after 12 hours and switches to trickle charge; LEDs show when each pair is active. Remember to unplug before inserting fresh cells.

NiCd chemistry limits

Nickel Cadmium cells deliver about 500 recharge cycles and maintain voltage well under load, but they self-discharge faster than modern chemistries and can develop voltage depression if repeatedly topped up without full use. The charger accepts both NiCd and Ni-MH, yet the included pack is NiCd only.

Questions about this item

How can I tell the V868 charger is working correctly after I plug it in?

The LED lamps will light to show proper charging and the built-in IC timer controls the cycle for up to 12 hours before switching to trickle charge.

What comes in the box with the V868 and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the 8-bay charger and 24 AA 1000 mAh NiCd batteries; no extra items are included so additional AAA cells would need to be purchased separately.

Which battery version should I choose for the V868 — AA or AAA?

The V868 charges both AA and AAA NiCd or NiMH cells in pairs; the bundle supplies 24 AA 1000 mAh batteries, so choose AA for immediate use or add AAA cells if your devices need the smaller size.
