Eight-bay charger with included cells

The DUSLAN V868 charges two, four, six or eight AA and AAA NiMH or NiCd cells at once. Eight AA batteries rated at 2700 mAh are supplied in the box. The unit runs from 120V AC 60Hz mains input and selects the correct current for each cell size automatically. An internal IC timer stops the fast charge after twelve hours and switches to a trickle current.

Mains voltage and pairing requirement

The charger requires a 120V AC 60Hz supply and draws 9W. Cells must be inserted in pairs so the timer circuit can reset correctly; unplug the unit before loading a fresh set. Output is 2.8V DC at 200mA for AA and 80mA for AAA. LED lamps show when each bay is charging properly.

Sustained charging behaviour

After the fast-charge phase the built-in timer moves to trickle charge to protect cell life. The included NiMH batteries support up to 1000 recharge cycles and have no memory effect. The charger measures 18 cm by 7.5 cm by 5 cm and carries CE, UL and RoHS approvals.
