Dimmable USB LED Light Kit

This 12-inch LED strip delivers 6500K cool white light for kitchen counters, pantry shelves or a desk workspace. It draws 5 watts from any USB port and offers ten brightness levels so you can match the task at hand. The fixture is designed for indoor use only and carries a three-year warranty.

Thermal and Power Profile

Aluminium housing keeps the 5-watt load cool during extended operation, and the LEDs produce no audible noise. Power comes from a standard USB connection, so no separate adapter or wall outlet is required. The slim .3-inch profile fits tight gaps between cabinets and walls without blocking airflow.

Magnetic Tool-Free Mount

A built-in magnetic base snaps to any ferrous surface for instant, drill-free installation. The light can also be secured with adhesive or screws if the mounting surface is non-magnetic. This flexibility lets you reposition the kit whenever your layout changes.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 12" LED strip and which step do people miss?

Peel the adhesive backing on the magnetic bracket, stick it to a clean metal surface, then snap the 0.3" profile strip onto the bracket — the missed step is cleaning the surface so the bracket holds.

What part will need replacement first after long use?

The LED chips are rated for 50000 hours and are not replaceable; once they dim the whole 5 W unit is replaced.

What limits continuous run time before the light dims or shuts off?

The 5 V USB supply must deliver a steady 5 W; if voltage sags under load the 10-level dimmer drops brightness or cuts power.
