A 0.7 hp straight pneumatic die grinder reaching 35,000 RPM with a safety-lock throttle and four collet inserts included
The DYNABRADE 53781 is a straight pneumatic die grinder built for heavy-duty material removal. It delivers 0.7 horsepower at a maximum speed of 35000 RPM. The tool accepts 1/4 inch and 6 mm collets for precision grinding, deburring and finishing tasks in metalworking and fabrication shops.
The grinder connects via a 1/4 inch NPT female air inlet for standard shop supply. A safety-lock throttle lever prevents accidental start-up during hose connection or bit changes. The straight body orientation allows controlled access to tight internal surfaces and weld seams.
The bare tool ships with four collet inserts: 1/4 inch (50013), 3/8 inch (50014), 6 mm (50016) and 8 mm (50039). This range lets operators switch between imperial and metric carbide burrs or mounted points without sourcing separate accessories.

Thread a 1/4 in NPT male fitting into the inlet, then secure the safety-lock throttle lever before pressurising the line — many users forget to engage the lock and get unexpected spindle rotation.
The four supplied inserts — 1/4 in (50013), 3/8 in (50014), 6 mm (50016) and 8 mm (50039) — are hardened steel; the smallest 6 mm insert typically sees the highest clamping cycles and should be inspected for run-out first.
The 0.7 hp motor reaches its thermal ceiling before the collet or throttle mechanism, so sustained full-speed work requires periodic cool-down pauses to avoid power drop-off.
