Mitsubishi VLT-XD420LP replacement lamp

This Osram lamp module replaces the original Mitsubishi VLT-XD420LP unit. It fits the MD-350X, MD-353X, PM-343x, SD420, SD420U, X420U, XD420 and XD420U projector models. Buyers restoring brightness to these specific Mitsubishi projectors will find a direct match here. It is not for users needing lamps for other brands or different Mitsubishi part numbers.

Installation and projector integration

The module slides into the existing lamp housing without extra brackets or adapters. It draws power from the projector’s standard lamp circuit and requires no firmware update. Swapping the lamp restores the light source while leaving the optical engine, colour wheel and cooling system untouched. Builders or technicians working on unrelated projector chassis cannot use this module.

Osram bulb inside the module

The lamp ships as a complete housing with the Osram bulb pre-fitted, so there is no separate bulb handling or alignment step. No software, remote or cable is bundled with the unit. Users who prefer to replace only the bare bulb must source a different product.
