LGA 2011 low-profile air cooler

The Dynatron R9 is a compact CPU air cooler built for Intel LGA 2011 square-type sockets. It targets system builders who need to cool Sandy Bridge EP and EX processors inside space-constrained chassis where taller towers cannot fit. The unit ships new and weighs 1.08 lbs.

62 mm height frees upper motherboard zones

A 62 mm overall height clears the area above the socket for tall memory modules or voltage-regulator heatsinks. The 77 mm fan mounts vertically on an aluminium extruded radial fin stack with a copper insert, drawing air through the fins and exhausting it toward the rear of the case. A standard 4-pin PWM connector allows the motherboard to regulate speed automatically.

Dual-ball bearing sustains 4500 RPM under load

At a 20 % duty cycle the fan spins at 1000 RPM, moving 10.12 CFM at 13.14 dBA. At 50 % it reaches 2500 RPM for 25.30 CFM at 33.04 dBA. At 100 % duty cycle the speed rises to 4500 RPM, delivering 45.56 CFM while the noise level reaches 45.9 dBA, showing how the cooler behaves when the CPU maintains a heavy thermal load.

Questions about this item

How loud is the fan when running at full 4500 RPM all day?

At 100% duty cycle the fan produces 45.9 dBA while moving 45.56 CFM, so sustained full-speed operation is audible in a quiet room.

What thermal limit appears first during continuous load?

The aluminum extruded radial fin heatsink with copper insert and 45.56 CFM maximum airflow define the cooling ceiling before temperatures rise.

Which motherboard socket must I already have for this cooler to fit?

It mounts only on Intel LGA 2011 (Square Type) sockets and supports Sandy Bridge EP/EX processors.
