Prime Lens for Leica M Mount

The DZOFILM Thypoch Ksana 35mm f/2 ASPH is a manual-focus prime lens built for Leica M-mount cameras. Its 35mm focal length provides a natural field of view similar to human vision. The fast f/2 maximum aperture supports low-light shooting and shallow depth of field. It suits street, portrait, and landscape photographers who value classic optical character.

Verify Mount and Focus Method

Confirm your camera body uses the Leica M bayonet mount before ordering. This lens has no electronic contacts and requires manual aperture control via the aperture ring. Focus is adjusted by hand using the scalloped focusing ring. The closest focusing distance is 19.7 inches, so check that this working range fits your typical subjects.

Mechanical Build and Optical Extras

The all-metal barrel includes a 10-blade iris for rounded bokeh and an aperture range from f/2 to f/16. Epoch 84 coating adds distinctive gold and purple flare characteristics. Optical construction uses ED, high-refractive-index, and aspherical elements to control aberrations. A matching lens hood is supplied to block stray light and protect the front element.
