75mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Leica M

The DZOFILM Thypoch Simera-C is a full-frame cinema prime built for Leica M-mount cameras. Its 75mm focal length suits portrait and mid-range work. The bright T1.5 aperture delivers strong low-light performance and shallow depth of field for filmmakers and photographers.

Simple Mount with Adapter Options

The lens ships with a native Leica M mount for direct attachment. Adapters allow use on Canon EF, Canon RF, Leica L, Nikon Z and Fujifilm X systems. A PL-to-M adapter extends compatibility to ARRI Alexa and Sony Venice cinema cameras for professional workflows.

T1.5 Maximum Aperture with 16 Blades

The T1.5 to T16 aperture range stays consistent across the Simera-C series. Sixteen iris blades create smoothly rounded bokeh highlights. This specification determines exposure latitude and the aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas for cinema production.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the T1.5 aperture is performing correctly after mounting the lens?

At maximum aperture the iris should show a perfectly circular opening from the 16 blades and exposure should match a T1.5 reading on a calibrated meter.

What ships with the lens and which accessories must be purchased separately?

The lens ships with a native Leica M mount; adapters for Canon E, Canon RF, Leica L, Nikon Z, FUJINON-X, or PL-to-M for ARRI ALEXA and Sony VENICE are sold separately.

Should I choose this 75mm focal length or a different Simera-C prime for my project?

Select the 75mm when you need a longer perspective with T1.5 low-light performance; choose a wider Simera-C prime if the scene calls for a shorter focal length.
