Six focal lengths for full-frame PL cameras

This kit supplies 18, 24, 35, 50, 85 and 105mm primes in PL mount for full-frame and VistaVision sensors. Each lens opens to T1.9 and stops down to T22, sharing an 80mm front diameter and 0.8 MOD gears. The Octopus adapter adds Sony E-mount compatibility for mixed workflows.

T1.9 aperture and 300° focus throw

The fast T1.9 maximum aperture supports low-light exposure and shallow depth of field across all six focal lengths. A 300° focus rotation gives operators fine control for critical pulling, while the aspherical element keeps distortion and breathing low. Coverage holds on large-format sensors but does not extend to medium format.

Replaces mismatched prime sets

The uniform length, weight and gear positions let you swap lenses without re-rigging matte boxes or follow-focus units. Cooke /i metadata records lens data for post, removing the need for manual logging. The bundle is not suited for shooters who need zoom flexibility or focal lengths wider than 18mm or longer than 105mm.

Questions about this item

Will the 80mm front diameter on the 18mm T1.9 lens match my existing matte box?

Yes, every lens in the Vespid2 series shares an 80mm front outside diameter, so a single matte box fits the 18, 24, 35, 50, 85 and 105mm primes without adapters.

How can I confirm the Cooke /i metadata is transmitting correctly?

The camera menu will display focal length, aperture and focus distance from each lens when the PL mount is seated and the /i contacts are clean; a quick focus pull verifies smooth 300° rotation.

Does the kit include the PL-to-E adapter and cleaning supplies, or must I buy them separately?

The bundle ships with the Octopus PL-to-Sony-E adapter and a GB cleaning kit included; no extra purchases are required for those items.
