Replacement 12.1 inch WXGA LCD

This is a brand-new 12.1 inch WXGA laptop LCD screen with a 20-pin CCFL connector. It serves as a direct replacement for damaged or failing panels in compatible notebooks. The resolution is 1280x800 and the backlight type is CCFL. Buyers who need an LED-backlit panel or a different pin count cannot use this screen.

Matte or glossy finish variability

The finish supplied will be either matte or glossy depending on real-time stock availability. This variation does not alter the resolution, connector or backlight specification. Installers should verify which finish their original panel used if visual consistency matters. The part carries a two-year warranty and is graded A+ after testing.

20-pin CCFL connector requirement

The single specification that decides fitment is the 20-pin CCFL data connector. Your existing screen must use exactly this connector type and backlight technology. Mismatched pin counts such as 14, 30, 40, 50 or 60 pins will not connect. Confirm the connector position and physical resolution before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the CCFL backlight need replacing after a few years of daily use?

CCFL tubes dim gradually over time; plan to swap the panel or inverter when brightness no longer meets your needs.

What limits continuous operation on this 12.1" WXGA panel?

The CCFL backlight generates the most heat during all-day use, so inverter temperature becomes the practical ceiling.

How much heat and noise should I expect from the 20-pin CCFL screen running all day?

The panel runs silently; expect warm surface temperatures near the inverter but no fan noise because the screen has none.
