Replacement screen for Acer Aspire 5338

This 15.6-inch CCFL panel replaces a damaged display on the Acer Aspire 5338-2329. It delivers a 1366 x 768 WXGA resolution for everyday office and web tasks. The screen ships new and fully tested with a three-year guarantee. Buyers who need a higher pixel density or LED backlight will not be served by this part.

30-pin CCFL connector fits existing cable

The unit uses a single-bulb CCFL backlight driven through a 30-pin socket that matches the original laptop harness. No inverter conversion cable is required, so the swap keeps the stock wiring intact. Builders working on thinner ultraportables or newer LED-only chassis cannot use this screen.

CCFL backlight warms up before full brightness

Cold-cathode fluorescence reaches peak output after a short warm-up period rather than instantly. Colour stability improves once the bulb settles, making the display suitable for long document sessions. Users who expect immediate maximum luminance from a cold start will notice the difference.

The panel uses a single CCFL bulb rated for typical notebook backlight life; actual hours depend on brightness setting and ambient temperature.

Does the screen generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day use?

The CCFL lamp and inverter produce modest warmth; the display itself has no moving parts, so it adds no audible noise to the laptop.

Which connector must the laptop motherboard provide for this panel to work?

A 30-pin CCFL socket matching the listed compatible part numbers such as LTN156AT01 or LP156WH1-TLC1.
