Replacement Screen for Acer Aspire 5552

This 15.6-inch CCFL-backlit LCD panel replaces the original display in an Acer Aspire AS5552 laptop. It delivers a 1366 x 768 WXGA resolution through a 30-pin connector. The panel is new, grade A+, and carries a three-year guarantee.

For owners repairing a CCFL-era notebook

The screen suits technicians or owners restoring an Aspire 5552 that still uses a single-bulb CCFL backlight. It will not fit laptops that require an LED panel or a different pin-count connector. Buyers needing a higher-resolution panel or a modern LED backlight should look elsewhere.

1366 x 768 resolution on a 15.6-inch panel

The WXGA resolution handles everyday office applications, web browsing and standard-definition video comfortably. It runs out of headroom for full-HD content, multi-window coding layouts or any task that benefits from greater pixel density. The single CCFL bulb also limits peak brightness compared with LED alternatives.

Questions about this item

Does my Acer Aspire AS5552 already have a CCFL backlight and 30-pin connector so this 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 panel will fit?

This screen is built for laptops using a single CCFL bulb and a 30-pin CCFL socket; if your AS5552 currently uses that same backlight and connector the panel will install directly.

Can I keep the original inverter and cable when swapping to this 15.6-inch CCFL display?

The replacement uses the existing 30-pin CCFL interface, so the factory inverter and video cable remain compatible provided they are in working order.

How do I confirm the new 1366 x 768 panel is operating correctly after installation?

Power on the laptop and verify the native 1366 x 768 resolution appears without flicker, dead pixels or backlight unevenness across the 15.6-inch area.
