Compatible replacement panel

This 15.6-inch LCD panel replaces the original display in a Compaq Presario CQ60-212EA laptop. It matches the WXGA resolution of 1366 x 768 and uses a CCFL backlight with a single bulb. The panel connects through a 30-pin CCFL socket. It is a new Grade A+ component that has been fully tested.

Installation requirements

The screen fits laptops that accept the listed compatible part numbers such as LTN156AT01 and LP156WH1-TLC1. It requires a CCFL inverter and the 30-pin video cable already present in the host machine. No LED conversion cable is included or needed. The assembly frees the user from a cracked or dim panel without changing the chassis.

Buyer guidance

This part suits owners of the specific Compaq model who need a direct CCFL replacement. Buyers with LED-backlit laptops or a different connector pin-count should look elsewhere. It is not a standalone monitor and cannot be used without a compatible laptop chassis.

Questions about this item

Will the CCFL backlight dim or shift colour after many hours of continuous use?

The single CCFL bulb is rated for thousands of hours; gradual dimming and a slight colour shift are normal as the lamp ages.

How much heat and audible noise does the inverter produce when the screen runs all day?

The inverter for the 30-pin CCFL connector emits a low hum and modest warmth; both stay within typical laptop-chassis limits.

Which existing laptop parts must be present for this 15.6-inch panel to install and function?

You need a 30-pin CCFL video cable, a matching inverter board, and the original mounting brackets from the CQ60-212EA chassis.
