Compatible Sony models

This 19.5V 3.96A AC adapter fits Sony VGN-A130P, A140, A140B, A140P and A150 laptops. It supplies 75W through a 6.5mm by 4.4mm barrel connector. The unit ships new with a region-appropriate power cord included.

Input and output limits

AC input accepts 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz for worldwide mains compatibility. DC output is fixed at 19.5V and 3.96A, so the adapter cannot charge devices that require a different voltage or higher current. The 75W ceiling also caps use on larger workstations.

Replaces lost or faulty Sony chargers

It directly substitutes an original Sony charger that has failed or been misplaced. The upgrade is worthwhile when the old unit no longer delivers stable 19.5V power or the connector is damaged. Buyers who need a higher wattage rating or a different connector size should look elsewhere.
