Questions about this item

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering the rated 65W 18.5V 3.5A output after connecting it?

The laptop should charge normally and the battery indicator will show charging; a multimeter on the DC plug should read about 18.5 V with no load.

Does the package include the AC mains cord, or must I buy a C5 / C7 lead separately?

The AC power cord is included in the box, so no separate mains lead is required.
