Questions about this item

How do I install the 18.5 V 65 W adapter on a Presario X1320ap, and what connector size mistake should I avoid?

Plug the 1.7 mm inner / 4.8 mm outer barrel into the laptop DC jack, attach the included AC cord, then connect to a 100–240 V 50–60 Hz outlet; forcing a mismatched tip damages the port.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3.5 A power supply need over time?

Inspect the cable and barrel for wear or heat damage; replace the unit if output drops below 18.5 V or the connector becomes loose, as internal components are not user-serviceable.
