Questions about this item

How can I verify the adapter is delivering the correct 18.5V and 3.5A output after connecting it?

The laptop should power on and charge the battery normally with no error messages; a multimeter on the DC plug can confirm 18.5V at the 1.7 mm centre pin.

Does the package include the AC power cord or only the brick with the 4.8 mm barrel connector?

The AC power cord is included in the box along with the adapter unit; no separate cable purchase is required.
