Upgrade from a lost or failing original charger

It replaces the factory adapter when the original is missing, damaged or no longer holds a stable charge. The jump is worth it when the existing brick shows intermittent output, a frayed cable or a loose connector that causes the laptop to switch between battery and mains power. Buyers needing a different voltage, higher wattage or a USB-C power source will not be served by this model.
