Questions about this item

How do I connect the 1.7 mm inner and 4.8 mm outer diameter tip to my HP ZT3355?

Align the barrel connector with the laptop’s DC-in jack, push straight in until it seats firmly, then plug the included AC power cord into a 100–240 V 50–60 Hz wall outlet.

When should I replace the 65 W 18.5 V 3.5 A adapter?

Replace it if the output voltage drops below 18.5 V under load, the brick becomes excessively hot, the cable shows exposed conductors, or the connector feels loose in the 4.8 mm port.
