Compatible Canon PIXMA Cartridge Pack
This five-pack of E-Z Ink Pro 280XXL 281XXL cartridges replaces Canon PGI-280 and CLI-281 inks for a long list of PIXMA TR and TS printers. It contains one large black PGI-280XXL, one standard black CLI-281XXL, and one each of cyan, magenta and yellow CLI-281XXL. Home offices and photo enthusiasts who print regularly on plain paper get a complete colour set in a single box.
Page Yield and Everyday Operation
The large black PGI-280XXL is rated at 600 pages while each colour CLI-281XXL delivers approximately 830 pages at standard coverage. The small black CLI-281XXL is quoted at 6300 pages. Water-based ink produces laser-quality text and true-to-life photos without smudging on supported media. Cartridges install directly into the printer like the originals and require no special handling.
Build and Daily Use
Each cartridge is moulded to match the original Canon form factor so it seats securely in the print carriage of every compatible model from the TR6100 through the TS9521C. The pack includes a user guide for first-time installation. Note that this set does not contain a photo blue cartridge, so users who rely on six-ink photo workflows will need that colour separately. Dimensions are 4.61 inches deep by 4.02 inches wide by 2.64 inches high.

Questions about this item
How do I install the PGI-280XXL and CLI-281XXL cartridges in my Canon PIXMA TS8320?
Open the front cover and paper output tray; the carriage moves to the replacement position. Press the tab on the empty cartridge to release it, remove the orange protective tape from the new cartridge, insert it at a slight upward angle until it clicks, then close the cover. The printer will start an automatic cleaning cycle.
When will I need to replace the individual colours in this 5-pack?
The large black PGI-280XXL yields about 600 pages, each colour CLI-281XXL yields about 830 pages, and the standard black CLI-281XXL yields about 6300 pages. Replace each cartridge when the printer reports low ink for that specific colour.
What print-quality limit appears first during long photo sessions on a TS9520?
After roughly 830 pages per colour cartridge the ink runs out, causing faded or missing colours. The large black lasts about 600 pages and the standard black about 6300 pages, so colour depletion is the first limit.
