Spill Deck for Two 55 gal Drums
The EAGLE 1632B is a low-profile polyethylene spill deck built to hold two standard 55 gal drums indoors. It provides a 30 gal sump for secondary containment and a 5,000 lb load rating. Removable HDPE grating keeps drums above any captured liquid. The modular deck connects to other units for larger containment zones.
Upgrade from Basic Pallets or Single-Drum Trays
Standard pallets and single-drum trays lack an integrated sump and cannot meet EPA 40 CFR 264.175 or SPCC requirements for secondary containment. This deck adds 30 gal of spill capacity and a 5,000 lb rating in one piece. The jump is worth it when regulations demand compliant containment for two drums and forklift access is required.
Fits Indoor Drum Storage Areas with Forklift Access
The deck measures 51 1/2 in long by 26 1/4 in wide by 6 1/2 in high and includes 2-way forklift pockets for positioning with standard forks. It connects to ramp models 1689 and 1689B for drum loading and links to additional decks to expand the sump. No drain or doors are included, so captured liquid must be removed manually. Not for outdoor use or for operations needing more than two drums per module.

Questions about this item
How much floor space does the 51 1/2 in by 26 1/4 in deck need for two drums?
The deck measures 51 1/2 in long by 26 1/4 in wide and sits 6 1/2 in high, so allow that footprint plus aisle clearance for forklift access to the 2-way pockets.
What is the correct way to seat the removable HDPE grating so drums sit level?
Lower the grating into the polyethylene deck until it rests fully on the internal supports; drums will then sit flat on the grating above the 30 gal sump.
When should the polyethylene deck or HDPE grating be replaced?
Inspect both pieces regularly and replace them if you see cracks, warping or chemical damage that could compromise the 5,000 lb load rating or the 30 gal containment capacity.
