Industrial-Grade Communication Headset

The Eartec Monarch headset is built for professionals who need reliable wired communication in demanding environments. Its lightweight BPT construction withstands daily use in studios, industrial sites and mobile operations. The over-ear design with a slender backband provides a secure unisex fit for extended wear. This model serves as a direct replacement for wired production intercom systems.

Passive Audio Performance

The dynamic microphone captures voice within a 300Hz to 4kHz frequency response tailored for speech clarity. With 32 Ohm impedance and 96dB sensitivity the headset works efficiently with standard intercom beltpacks. The 30mm Mylar speakers deliver clear monitoring without active electronics. No batteries or external power are required for operation.

Rugged Build With Standard Connectivity

The BPT chassis resists impact and stress common in industrial and broadcast settings. A 5-pin XLR female connector ensures compatibility with widely used wired intercom systems. The fixed cable and connector are designed for repeated mating cycles in professional workflows. Users needing wireless freedom or different connector pinouts should consider alternative configurations.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 5-pin XLR-female connector to my intercom beltpack?

Align the key on the 5-pin XLR-female plug with the beltpack socket, push straight in until the latch clicks, and route the cable behind the neckband so the 30 mm Mylar drivers stay centred over your ears.

What part of the Monarch headset will need replacement first?

The dynamic microphone capsule and the 30 mm Mylar speaker diaphragms are the only wear items; the BPT backband and 5-pin XLR connector are rated for years of daily connect-disconnect cycles.

At what sound-pressure level does the 32 Ω driver start to compress on long shifts?

Continuous programme above 96 dB SPL drives the 32 Ω load into thermal compression, so keep average levels below that figure for clean audio.
