A pack of five 6.3 A glass time-delay fuses rated 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating
The Eaton Bussmann GDC 6.3A glass fuse provides time-delay over-current protection for circuits rated at 250 V AC. It suits maintenance technicians, OEM assemblers and hobbyists who need a direct replacement for Bussmann GDC, S506, Littelfuse 218 or Mersen GDG series fuses in control panels, instrumentation or low-voltage equipment. The cylindrical 20 mm x 5 mm body fits standard HTB fuse blocks and the five-pack format keeps spares on hand for field service.
As a passive protection device the fuse generates no audible noise and draws no operating power. Its single-element glass construction opens after a sustained overload, limiting let-through energy with a 35 A interrupt rating at 250 V AC. The time-delay characteristic tolerates brief inrush currents such as transformer magnetising or motor starting without nuisance opening, while still clearing persistent faults quickly to protect downstream wiring and components.
The 20 mm length and 5 mm diameter allow drop-in installation in existing HTB-compatible fuse holders without panel modifications. Glass body material gives visual confirmation of element status after a fault. CE, cURus, IMQ and MITI/JET certifications support compliance in North American and international control-panel builds. Non-rejection styling means the fuse seats in standard clips without keying features, simplifying stock management across multiple equipment lines.

Push the cylindrical glass body straight into a 5 mm diameter fuse clip or HTB series block until both metal end caps seat firmly; the step people miss is checking that the holder is rated for 250 V AC and a 35 A interrupt rating so the time-delay element can operate safely.
The fuse is a single-element, non-rejection device with no moving parts; it requires no periodic maintenance and is replaced only after it interrupts a fault, at which point you simply swap in another 6.3 A GDC series fuse from the 5-pack.
The glass body and end caps must dissipate heat at 250 V AC; sustained loads near 6.3 A will raise the element temperature until the time-delay characteristic opens the circuit, which is the intended protective limit.
