A 15 A, three-pole molded-case breaker rated for 480 V AC and 250 V DC with thermal-magnetic trip and 18 kA interrupting at 240 V AC
The Eaton EHD3015 is a molded case circuit breaker rated at 15 A and 480 V AC for three-phase power systems. It uses thermal-magnetic trip units with a low setting of 10 A and a high setting of 100 A to protect conductors and equipment in motor control centres and switchboards. The fixed instantaneous trip responds to short-circuit currents without adjustment.
The breaker carries a maximum AIR rating of 18 kA at 240 V AC, which defines the highest prospective fault current it can safely clear at that voltage. At the rated 480 V AC the interrupting capacity is lower, so the device must only be applied where the available fault current does not exceed the published curve. It also carries a 250 V DC rating for limited direct-current applications.
This 100 A frame breaker serves as a direct replacement for legacy three-pole units in Allen Bradley, Eaton, Rockwell Automation and Westinghouse enclosures that use the same lug pattern and mounting footprint. The jump is worth it when the existing breaker shows nuisance tripping, contact erosion or when a panel upgrade demands a new device with current production date codes.

The breaker is rated 15 A continuous current. The low and high trip settings of 10 A and 100 A define the adjustable thermal-magnetic range; select a setting within that window that matches your load and coordination study.
The 18 kA interrupting rating is specified at 240 V AC. At 480 V AC the interrupting capacity will be lower; consult Eaton's published curves for the exact value at 480 V.
Yes. The breaker carries a 250 V DC voltage rating in addition to 480 V AC, so it is suitable for DC circuits up to 250 V when wired per the manufacturer's instructions.
