IEC miniature circuit breaker rated 7 A, single-pole, C-curve, 10 kA interrupting at 277/480 V AC with DIN-rail screw-clamp terminals
The Eaton FAZ-NA series breaker provides single-pole circuit protection for AC and DC installations. It uses a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism with a C-curve characteristic to handle moderate inrush currents. The unit mounts on a standard DIN rail and accepts screw-clamp terminal connections. It is rated for 7 A continuous current in a single-phase configuration.
The breaker carries an AC voltage rating of 277/480 V and a DC rating of 48 V. Its maximum AIR interrupting rating is 10 kA at the rated AC voltage. These limits define the highest prospective fault current the device can safely interrupt. Applications with higher available fault current or different voltage levels require alternative protection.
The product meets UL 489 requirements for branch-circuit protection. This certification determines whether the breaker is accepted for use in electrical panels and equipment subject to North American inspection authorities. Installations that do not require UL 489 listing may use other device classes.

Select the 7 A single-pole breaker when the circuit load requires 7 amps of thermal-magnetic protection on one phase; other amperages or pole counts protect different loads.
It means the breaker can safely interrupt up to 10 kA of fault current at 277/480 V AC without damage.
The UL 489 listing certifies it for branch-circuit protection up to 277/480 V AC and 48 V DC within the 10 kA interrupting limit.
