Thermal overload unit for NEMA 0-2 starters, trip class 20, 1.63-2.06 A range
The Eaton FH22 is a thermal overload unit rated for Trip Class 20 and designed for use with NEMA Size 0, 1 and 2 starters. It suits maintenance teams and panel builders who need reliable motor protection in industrial control circuits.
The unit fits Series A200 and B100 starters and matches Grainger part numbers 11Z488 through 11Z497. It requires a compatible starter base and wiring to the motor circuit; once installed it frees the starter from nuisance trips during normal start-up inrush.
The thermal unit covers full-load current bands of 1.63 to 1.78 A and 1.88 to 2.06 A, opening on sustained overloads per Class 20 timing. It will not protect against short-circuit faults or provide adjustable trip settings beyond the fixed thermal curve.

The thermal unit is rated for trip class 20 and covers full-load current ranges of 1.63 to 1.78 A and 1.88 to 2.06 A, so sustained current above the selected range will cause it to trip.
As a thermal overload device, it dissipates heat proportional to the current flowing through it; at the rated ranges of 1.63 to 2.06 A the temperature rise stays within the trip-class-20 limits.
The unit is compatible with Eaton Series A200 and B100 starters in NEMA sizes 0, 1 and 2.
