IEC Magnetic Contactor for 120V Control Circuits

The Eaton XTCF045C10A is a four-pole IEC magnetic contactor built for 110/120V AC coil operation. It mounts on DIN rail or panel and uses screw terminals for secure wiring in industrial control panels.

Resistive and Inductive Load Limits

The contactor carries 45 A resistive and 25 A inductive full-load current at the rated voltage. These two figures define the practical ceiling for heater banks, lighting loads and motor-starting duty on a single device.

Non-Reversing Four-Pole Configuration

The unit provides four main poles plus one normally-open auxiliary contact in a non-reversing frame. Choose this model only when the application does not require motor reversal or a second contactor for forward/reverse logic.

Questions about this item

Should I select this 4-pole 25 A inductive / 45 A resistive contactor or a different frame size for my load?

Choose this XT frame C unit when the inductive load is up to 25 A and the resistive load up to 45 A; the 4-pole arrangement and 1 NO auxiliary suit circuits needing three power poles plus one auxiliary.

What does the 25 A inductive rating mean once the contactor is installed in a panel?

It means the contactor can switch a 25 A inductive load such as a motor or transformer at 110/120 V AC coil voltage without exceeding its thermal limits.

The screw-terminal IEC contactor mounts on DIN rail — what control voltage does it actually require?

The coil operates on 110/120 V AC, so the control circuit must supply that voltage for reliable pull-in and drop-out.
