A 4 A rotary manual motor protector rated up to 600 V AC with three poles and overload settings up to 4 A
The Eaton XTPR004BC1 is a rotary manual motor protector rated for 4 A continuous current. It provides three-pole overload protection for motors up to 600 V AC. The selector-switch operator allows local manual control and trip reset. It suits industrial control panels and motor-starter assemblies requiring compact branch-circuit protection.
Builders wiring single-phase loads above 1/3 hp at 240 V or needing NEMA-rated starters should look at other devices. Installers requiring integrated contactor function or electronic trip units will not find those features here. The unit is limited to a fixed 4 A maximum overload setting.
The protector’s overload relay caps at 4 A, which directly determines the largest motor it can safeguard. Three-phase ratings reach 1 hp at 208 V, 3/4 hp at 240 V, 2 hp at 480 V and 3 hp at 600 V. Single-phase ratings are 1/8 hp at 120 V and 1/3 hp at 240 V. Verify the motor nameplate current against the 4 A limit before specifying.
