What the mount does and who uses it

The ECHOGEAR tilting TV mount holds flat-panel screens from 40 to 90 inches and adds up to 10 degrees of downward tilt to reduce glare. It is built for living-room or above-fireplace installations where the viewer wants a simple way to angle the screen without a full-motion arm.

What the bundled hardware changes

A cardboard wall template marks drill holes so the bracket goes up in three steps and under 20 minutes. An extra-wide wall plate spans more than 24 inches, letting the mount bridge studs that are farther apart than usual. After the plate is secured, the TV slides left or right on the bracket for perfect centering, and pull strings allow the display to be lifted off and locked back in place with a click.

Practical limits of the tilt interface

The mechanism provides a fixed 10-degree tilt range and does not swivel or extend, so viewers seated far to the side will not gain a better angle. The mount relies on wood studs for support; concrete, brick or metal-stud walls require separate anchors not included. Screens heavier than the mount’s rated capacity or smaller than 40 inches cannot be used safely.
