Crimps RJ45 and RJ11 modular plugs with built-in wire cutter and stripper on a steel frame
The Eclipse 300-018 is a non-ratcheted hand tool built to terminate 6P2C, 6P4C, 6P6C and 8P8C modular plugs. It integrates a wire cutter and a wire stripper so electricians and low-voltage installers can prep and crimp with a single instrument. The steel frame and deluxe cushion grips are sized for repeated daily use on job sites.
Because the mechanism is manually adjustable and non-ratcheted, each cycle depends on the operator applying consistent force from start to finish. Under sustained workloads the tool does not enforce a fixed compression point, so crimp quality varies with hand pressure and fatigue over long runs. The low-carbon steel body resists deformation, yet the absence of a ratchet means the user must judge completion by feel on every connector.
The crimper accepts standard RJ-11 and RJ-45 modular plugs within the listed pin configurations and cannot accommodate larger or keyed connector types. Without an included die set or adjustable die holder, the tool is fixed to the two common plug families and offers no provision for shielded or offset plugs. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to materials used in the tool's construction.

The 300-018 has no ratchet mechanism so each crimp relies on manual squeeze; the deluxe cushion grip reduces fatigue but the tool does not publish a maximum crimping force figure.
It crimps 6P2C, 6P4C and 6P6C RJ-11 plus 8P8C RJ-45 modular plugs; you supply the plugs and the cable because no crimping die or connectors are included.
Yes, the crimper handles the same 6-position and 8-position modular plugs used for legacy telephone and Ethernet cables, and the built-in cutter and stripper prepare those wires without extra tools.
