Product identity

Eco-Products GreenStripe cold cups hold 16 ounces and are made from polylactic acid derived from renewable resources. The clear PLA construction is compostable in commercial facilities. Each carton contains 1000 cups for high-volume breakroom use.

Who this suits

Offices and catering operations that serve cold beverages and want a plant-based, compostable option will find these cups fit the requirement. Buyers who need hot-drink tolerance or a non-compostable plastic cup should look at alternative products.

Setup checks

Confirm that your local waste stream accepts PLA in commercial composting before ordering. Verify that 16 ounces matches the portion size your drink service requires. Ensure storage space can accommodate a 1000-count carton.

Questions about this item

Do I need a specific lid size for these 16 oz cups?

Use a lid made for a 16 oz cold-cup rim; the cup diameter is standard for that volume.

Can I stack these PLA cups with the polystyrene cups I already stock?

They stack the same way, but PLA is more brittle, so keep the two materials in separate sleeves to avoid cracking.

How can I confirm the cups are compostable after I receive them?

Look for the GreenStripe print and the PLA resin code on the cup sidewall; both markings certify the material.
