What it is

The ECOmorning Collapsible Silicone Lunch Box is a 1000ml food storage container made from food-grade silicone. It includes a snap-in fork-spoon combo that stores inside the lid. The box collapses to a height of 3.1cm for compact storage in bags or drawers.

When the jump is worth it

It replaces rigid plastic or glass containers that take up the same space whether full or empty. The collapsible design is worth it when bag space is limited during travel, commuting, or when storing multiple empty boxes in a cupboard.

Who it suits

It suits commuters, campers, and meal-preppers who need a leakproof, microwave-safe box that stores flat when empty. Buyers who want divided compartments for separating foods should look at a bento-style box instead.

Questions about this item

What clearance do I need in a bag for the 5.5 in x 8.3 in x 1.1 in folded size?

The collapsed box measures 5.5 in by 8.3 in by 1.1 in, so allow at least that footprint plus a few millimetres for the lid latch.

How do I secure the included spork so it does not fall out when the box is collapsed?

Snap the 2-in-1 fork and spoon into the dedicated recess on the underside of the lid before folding the sides down.

Will the purple silicone stain from tomato-based sauces, and how do I remove discolouration?

Silicone resists most stains; if discolouration occurs, soak in a baking-soda paste or run a normal dishwasher cycle.
