ECS LIVA Z Plus Mini PC

This ECS LIVA Z Plus is a compact desktop computer powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7200U dual-core processor. It arrives with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 128GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. Integrated Intel HD 620 graphics drive video output through HDMI and mini DisplayPort connections.

Suits office work and media playback

The system suits users who need a small, quiet PC for general productivity, web browsing and video streaming. The 65W power supply and mini form factor fit tight spaces. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance, internal expansion bays or a card reader should look at something else. The fixed 64GB memory capacity cannot be increased beyond the factory configuration.

64GB DDR4 memory capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 64GB DDR4 SODIMM memory installed at the factory. This amount is fixed and not user-expandable. Verify that your workload runs comfortably within this limit before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install the LIVA Z Plus and what step is often missed?

Connect the included 65W power adapter, attach a display via HDMI or mini DisplayPort, plug in Ethernet or join the 802.11ac Wi-Fi, then complete the Windows 10 Pro out-of-box setup; the step often missed is signing in with a Microsoft account to activate the licence.

What maintenance or replacement will the LIVA Z Plus need later?

The 64GB DDR4 memory and 128GB NVMe SSD are not user-serviceable, so no routine upgrades are expected; only the CMOS coin cell on the motherboard may eventually need replacement.

What limit appears first under sustained load on the LIVA Z Plus?

The 65W power envelope and passive thermal design cause the Core i5-7200U to throttle from its 3.10 GHz turbo down toward the 2.70 GHz base clock during prolonged heavy workloads.
