Edifier G1500bar Pink Gaming Soundbar

This Edifier G1500bar is a pink desktop soundbar built for gamers who want virtual 7.1 surround audio without a headset. It combines wired USB and 3.5 mm connections with Bluetooth wireless streaming for flexible device pairing. The detachable microphone adds clear voice chat for multiplayer sessions or daily calls. RGB lighting with 13 effects adds visual flair to a gaming setup.

Connectivity limits of USB, 3.5 mm and Bluetooth

The soundbar uses USB for power and digital audio, a 3.5 mm jack for analogue sources and Bluetooth for wireless playback. Virtual 7.1 surround processing requires the USB connection and driver software on a PC. Bluetooth mode delivers stereo only and does not support the virtual surround effect. The 3.5 mm input bypasses the internal DSP, so surround modes are unavailable when using that analogue link.

Build, drivers and detachable microphone

Two active drivers and two passive bass radiators produce deeper low frequencies and clear midrange from a compact bar. The detachable microphone plugs in when needed and stores away for pure audio listening. Thirteen RGB lighting patterns illuminate the front panel for desktop decoration. Three preset sound profiles optimise output for movies, games or music with a simple switch.

Questions about this item

Which connectivity option should I choose — USB, 3.5 mm or Bluetooth?

Use USB for the 7.1 virtual surround driver and RGB control, 3.5 mm for simple stereo from any device, or Bluetooth for wireless streaming.

What does the 7.1 virtual surround actually deliver on this soundbar?

The driver creates a 7.1 virtual surround effect from the two speakers and two passive bass radiators, widening positional audio in games and movies.

How does the USB connection limit the audio performance?

USB carries the digital signal for the 7.1 virtual surround processing and powers the 13 RGB light effects, while the 3.5 mm jack provides analogue stereo only.
