What these speakers are

The Edifier G2000 is a compact 2.0 desktop speaker system that delivers 16W RMS per channel and 32W total peak power from two 2.75-inch full-range drivers. A rear bass port and a subwoofer output interface extend low-frequency response for richer sound.

Who they suit and who should look elsewhere

Gamers and multimedia users who want simple USB, 3.5mm AUX or Bluetooth connections to a PC, Mac, console or phone will appreciate the three EQ presets and 12 RGB lighting effects. Buyers needing a dedicated subwoofer included in the box or surround-sound decoding should consider a 2.1 or 5.1 system instead.

Capacity and headroom

The 0.65L isometric cabinets with 10-degree elevation fill a typical desk space with clear stereo audio for gaming, music and movies at moderate volumes. At higher output levels the compact drivers reach their limits and bass extension drops off without an external subwoofer connected.
