Magnetic cat-ear RGB lighting

The Edifier G5BT CAT is a circumaural gaming headset with 40 mm dynamic drivers and magnetic cat-ear attachments that activate RGB lighting when attached. It connects via Bluetooth 5.2 or a 3.5 mm audio cable and weighs 350 g. The headset is compatible with Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, mobile devices and PC.

Gamers wanting low-latency wireless

This model suits players who want a 45 ms low-latency Bluetooth connection for competitive gaming and the option to remove the cat-ear lights for a stealthier look. Buyers who need active noise cancellation for the earcups or a dedicated wireless USB dongle should consider other options.

Detachable cat ears toggle lighting.

The magnetic cat-ear accessory automatically turns the RGB lighting on when attached and off when removed, offering eight lighting effects. The included 3.5 mm cable allows passive wired use when the battery is depleted or for devices without Bluetooth. Dual environmental noise-cancelling microphones improve voice clarity during calls.

Questions about this item

Does my phone or PC need to support Hi-Res audio to hear the 24-bit/96 kHz quality?

Yes, Hi-Res sound requires a source device that supports 24-bit/96 kHz output; otherwise the headset plays at the device's standard resolution.

Can I still use the 3.5 mm cable with a console controller if the battery runs out?

Yes, the 3.5 mm wired connection works without battery power, so you can keep playing on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch controllers.

How do I know the 45 ms low-latency mode is active during a game?

The magnetic cat-ear LEDs light up automatically when attached, indicating the headset is powered and the low-latency Bluetooth 5.2 link is live.
