Compact desktop speakers for gamers

The Edifier Hecate G1000 2.0 system delivers 10 W peak power through two 2.5-inch full-range drivers. USB power keeps the setup simple on any desk. Bluetooth 5.3 and a 3.5 mm AUX input let you connect a phone, laptop or console without extra adapters. A wired controller puts volume and mode changes at your fingertips.

Oxeye cabinets with 12 RGB patterns

Each speaker uses a compact oxeye-shaped enclosure that fits tight spaces without blocking monitors. One button on the wired controller cycles through 12 RGB lighting effects on the front panel. The USB power cable and fixed audio cables reduce desktop clutter. A signal-to-noise ratio of 85 dB(A) keeps background hiss low during quiet passages.

2.0 stereo with Game and Music EQ modes

The single specification that decides fit is the 2.0 stereo configuration — there is no separate subwoofer, so deep bass extension is limited. Buyers who want room-filling low frequencies or a 2.1 system should look elsewhere. A one-key switch toggles between Game and Music EQ presets for different content types. Bluetooth 5.0 is also supported for legacy devices.

Questions about this item

Does Bluetooth 5.3 limit audio quality compared to the wired inputs?

Bluetooth 5.3 is used for wireless streaming; USB and 3.5 mm AUX carry the signal directly without Bluetooth compression.

How much desk space do the two speakers and their wired controller need?

Each unit measures 5x4x5 inches, and the wired controller connects both speakers for volume and mode changes.

What is the correct order to connect power and audio so the speakers are recognised?

Plug the USB cable into the computer for power first, then select the USB audio device in system settings before playing sound.
